As a requirement for my Doctorate of Musical Arts degree, I will be giving a chamber music recital on the harpsichord. I will be joined by Asako Takeuchi (Baroque violin), Andrew Arceci (viola da gamba/Renaissance cittern), and Hilary Jones (flute).
The program will explore Baroque variation forms, particularly the Ground Bass, and its relation to folk music popular during the 1600s and 1700s.
The concert will be at 12:30 PM in the Mabel Smith Douglass Room in the Douglass Library, Cook/Douglass Campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Corner Store incorporated as a nonprofit arts center in 2002, where the work of actors, playwrights, musicians, filmmakers, artists, poets and chefs are regularly showcased.

Recalling the charm of a bygone era, the Arts Barn is a beautifully renovated stable that once housed horses on the former Tschiffely estate. Today, the Arts Barn is part of "Arts on the Green," the City’s premier visual and performing arts center. Each year, the ALSCW holds an Annual Conference in a major city of North America, with panels covering a wide range of literary topics, and, often, presentations in film, music, and theater.

The Four Hour Day Lutherie is a home for hands-on practice of the creative arts. They host musical performances, craft custom stringed instruments, and teach workshops in instrument building.
A British-American ensemble formed in Oxford (UK), roots revival band Floyds Row explores early, folk, and classical idioms on an array of modern and period instruments. Fusing a variety of styles, Floyds Row repertoire includes both original material and pieces pulled from the early British folk tradition and English Renaissance.
The Mid-Atlantic Tour will include performances at Four Hour Day Lutherie (Baltimore, MD), An die Musik (Baltimore, MD), the ALSCW Conference (Washington, DC), the Gaithersburg Arts Barn (Gaithersburg, MD), and Corner Store Arts (Washington, DC).
